James is a Partner with the firm. James focuses his practice on intellectual property counseling, procurement, and enforcement of patents, for mechanical, chemical, electrical, semiconductor, networking, consumer electronics, and computer software arts.

He has prepared and prosecuted both domestic and foreign patent applications in technological fields such as computer electronics, software, networking, signal processing, semiconductor fabrication, optics, graphics, consumer electronics, chemical, and mechanical. James started practicing patent law after seven years of experience as an engineer in various silicon and compound semiconductor device manufacturing-related positions.
